First Travelex Branch Opens
The Pavilion branch in Durban is the first Travelex Retail branch in South Africa!
The opening of the branch, on August 16, to which 40 customers from travel agents, corporates, and banks were invited, was a great success.
Managing Director Darren Jenkins-Ferrett hosted the evening and presented a summary of Travelex as the world’s leader in foreign exchange. A R1000 foreign exchange voucher was won by Charlie Van der Walt, a consultant at Pentravel.
The Pavilion branch is in the banking hall and surrounded by Rennies, Master Currency and American Express and all the major banks, so competition is fierce.
“The branch has generated a lot of interest and with the new branding, great rates and service, this branch will soon become the best forex branch in the banking hall,” says Annette Mekisich, KwaZulu-Natal Operations Manager.
