FX Africa Moves on and Up

September 2006

FX AFRICA Foreign Exchange will be moving its head offices at the end of September 2006, to The Forum Building in Sandton, Johannesburg, opposite the Sandton Convention Centre.

We’ve come a full circle. When we first opened our doors five years ago in Johannesburg, our offices were also located in the Forum Building.

As a company, we have always reached for greater heights and with our expansion back then, it became necessary to find bigger offices.

We moved to our current offices at 7 Eton Road in Sandhurst. The Eton Road offices were much larger and for a while the office space was sub-leased to use some of the excess space. When we expanded again, we moved into the excess space. Our treasury team had expanded to six people, and our client liaison team had grown by two more people. The sales team has also taken up more space with two more sales consultants joining the team. The accounts department has also expanded and we now have a dedicated human resources team.

The landlord at Eton road, Roodt Attorneys, needs additional space for their firm - hence FX Africa needing a new home.

We were therefore delighted when our old home, the Forum Building, offered us larger and more secure premises, with additional parking facilities.

Fortunately, our contact information will remain the same and the toll free number will also be operational. With the move to the new offices, a new switchboard will be installed to cope with the volume of calls. The feasibility of a call centre is also being investigated.

The move will take place over the weekend so as to ensure little disruption of customers.
